What you need
OBD ELM dongle
A compatible OBD ELM dongle (e.g. ELM327) is required. Plug it into your vehicle’s OBD‑II port and connect it to the app.
Supported models
The current version is optimized for Volkswagen e‑Golf and Volkswagen e‑up.

Which ELM to use?
Use an ELM327‑compatible Bluetooth adapter. See “Tested OBD dongles” above.
OBD‑II port on e‑Golf
The port sits under the steering column (lower left). Plug the adapter there.
Turn ignition on
Ignition must be on for the connection. Otherwise the OBD port may be inactive and the adapter can drain the 12‑V battery.
Advanced: rewire pins (your responsibility!)
